Clemens Bacher — you know him as...

The making of Songs of Vienna

CID RIM, also known as Clemens Bacher, is the acclaimed drummer based in London, hailing from Vienna. Bacher grew up in Austria alongside Dorian Concept and friends who led the city's burgeoning art & music scene - fusing DIY jazz and electronics. With little regard for classification, their party was the stuff of legend. Set in an old sauna below a theme park - Loud Minority was a vibrant riot of all things new. Often the crew would roll out the club at dawn, straight on to rollercoasters. But after years incubating in Vienna, his ambition took him to writing rooms in London, LA, Paris & NY.

THE MAKING OF SONGS OF VIENNA
We live our lives made up of a great quantity of isolated instants. So as to be lost at the heart of a multitude of things. (From the Double Dream of Spring, 1970.)
